Founded in Cape Town in 1997, Ritztrade Safaris is considered the leading operator of German-language tours in South Africa and neighbouring countries. Our inexpensive trips take you to some of the most remote and untouched areas in Africa. We offer safaris in Cape Town, throughout South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique as far as Kenya. In order to preserve the spectacular biodiversity, we try not to disturb the environment on our excursions in the wilderness. We cooperate with many small towns that are located in these areas to share the tour business with them.

Everything we do aims to preserve the wilderness and wildlife of Africa and involve local communities in this process. We want to encourage positive action to change lives. In earlier times, when the Cape Peninsula was discovered by European farmers, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hippos and other large animals lived around Table Mountain. Many were driven away or shot.

Return of the big game animals to the Cape Peninsula

Now you can experience the largest wild animals of South Africa in the Cape Town area. Only 120-minute drive from Table Mountain, lies the natural and animal paradise in the Little Karoo.

Here safaris have become possible in a large oasis amidst the dry Karoo.

Here you can see elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, springboks, antelopes and many other wild animals. On a really good safari day, you may even be able to spot the queen of all big cats – the leopard.
He likes to hunt at night and is rarely seen during the day. Oftentimes he will lie in a treetop and sleep all day. If another leopard disputes his territory, he is irritable and can also be observed during the day.

Cheetah - the fastest cat in the world

If you visit Inverdoorn with us, you will also see cheetahs.

Now it is up to you to contact us and we will advise you without obligation and in detail. We look forward to receiving your inquiry.
